Volunteer Opportunities

Help a new American navigate Minnesota!
Join the Community Works team. Many of our families were once immigrants who relied on the kindness and guidance of others in order to find their way in the United States. As Jews, they were part of an ethnic minority who spoke a foreign language, went to temple instead of church, and needed a helping hand in order to make this country their new home.

Through Community Works, an initiative of the JCRC and Justice Squared, you can help recent immigrants who are going through this same experience right now. One-on-one individual mentoring or family-to-family mentoring opportunities are available, as are short-term and long-term opportunities.
