Community Works Immigrant Mentoring Program

Help a new American navigate Minnesota!

Community Works is an immigrant mentoring program that matches immigrant families and persons with mentors through a one-on-one and/or family-to-family partnership.

Community Works builds cross-cultural understanding and relationships between immigrants and their neighbors.  Our partners include Jewish Family Service of Saint Paul, La Oportunidad, The Hubbs Center, and the Hmong Cultural Center.

This Mentorship and friendship is a flexible volunteer opportunity that can be custom-created based on scheduling, geography and interests.  Community Works provides in-depth training and a variety of volunteer opportunities ranging from a commitment of a few hours to an investment in a life-long friendship.
