Our mission is to continue to build & expand the local Jewish community with a new group of rising Jewish leaders through educational, social, cultural, & political affairs opportunities.

RLC’s demographic focuses on young professionals & graduate students who are interested in connecting with & invested in expanding the JCRC’s mission within the Minnesota & the Dakotas’ Jewish communities.

Inaugural events included exclusive Rising Leaders Council “meet-and-greets” with U.S. Senate Candidates Al Franken & Mike Ciresi, as well as a happy hour at Lyon’s Pub.

Rising Leaders Council Brown Bag Lunch Series:

• Join Rep. Steve Simon on Wednesday, December 5, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. to discuss the challenges facing the Minnesota State Legislature in 2008. Location: 2800 LaSalle Plaza, 800 LaSalle Ave., Downtown Minneapolis. Bring your own lunch or order a box lunch from Fishman’s Kosher Deli through Susan Lieberman by contacting her at Susan@MinnDakJCRC.org or (612) 338-7816. Please RSVP to Susan by November 30.
• Save the Date in 2008! Brown bag lunch featuring Karen Sachs, Diversity Consultant at Cargill. Wednesday, January 9, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Location to be determined. Stay tuned!
