Community Safety & Security
JCRC supports community partners in meeting their responsibility to protect their people and property. Working together, we strengthen our community’s security.
JCRC’s Community Safety & Security services include:
Physical Security
Consulting with partner agencies in the Jewish community to make their facilities as safe and secure as possible while remaining warm and welcoming to the community.
Training
Hosting organization-specific and community-wide trainings, including:
- Combatting Active Threats
- First Aid / Stop the Bleed
- Behavioral Detection
- Cyber Safety
Security Patrol and Infrastructure
Procuring and deploying security infrastructure that serves the entire community, including bringing patrol vehicles to Jewish community sites as part of our efforts to foster a welcoming and secure environment.
Threat Analysis and Information Sharing
Partnering with law enforcement and others to monitor, analyze, and inform our community of potential threats.
Local Relationships
Establishing and maintaining close working relationships with dozens of law enforcement agencies and diverse interfaith and community partners.
National Network
Working alongside and with support from our national partners at Secure Community Network (SCN), the official safety and security organization for the Jewish community in North America.
Grants
Assisting with FEMA’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program applications and providing security grants when urgently needed.
Report an Incident
In partnership with the Secure Community Network (SCN), the official safety and security organization for the Jewish community in North America, JCRC launched a new, standardized online form for the public to report threats, incidents, and suspicious activity related to Jewish organizations, facilities, or community members.
